I am an off again, on again journalist based in the southeastern United States, and while I do cover topics I thoroughly enjoy, I've always sought a little more. That "little more" for me is fictional writing, particularly novels and screenplays in the fantasy genre. Nothing drives me more than creating moments. Moments where the reader or viewer is captivated, emotionally invested, on the edge of their seat, or teary eyed.
The sense of fulfillment when creating a character that charms the audience into adoring them or loathing them is one that I can only compare to the sort of ecstasy that has no place being discussed here in a mere bio.
So, in short, I like to write. I like to write things that people enjoy consuming. So, if I happen to write something that you are a fan of, please, do let me know.
I am also a huge (fat guy pun not intended) otaku. I can often be found at anime conventions and could be described as the awkward, shy, funny fellow with the long hair. I could also be described as Kohta Hirano from Highschool of the Dead, who I cosplay. Well, will cosplay.
I am a peculiar man with peculiar tastes, but I adore the world, and the people in it. The good, bad, and those who linger in the grey. If you're reading this because of my writing, or because we've met somehow in person or online, thanks for stopping by. Stick around, things might get interesting around here. Maybe.
